This is a large, fast-growing, cold-hardy, and adaptable plant that is very free-flowering in the sun. It will start blooming cream white in late July and then start turning a burgundy color in August and through September. Burgundy Lace prefers well-draining soil but can take the worst of all other conditions. Bred by Robert and Jelena de Belder in 1975, Belgium.
