The beautiful crimson-pink (blue in acidic soils) blooms stand high above the foliage making this seem like a florist's bouquet without cutting. Princess Beatrix is a moderate sized hydrangea that is very free-flowering. Blooms turn an outstanding red color in the fall. We consider this one a favorite for cut and dried flowers. Bred in Belgium by E. Draps in 1946.
