We affectionally call this cultivar Monte. Monte is a wonderful compact variety that is beautiful as a deep pink or blue. I'm a bit partial to the blue with it's stunning large petals and vivid green stems and leaves. Monte has tight bloom heads just perfect for cutting or drying. Bred in Germany by Brugger in 1946.
