This is a pseudo mophead hydrangea and is one of the rarest and most valued of the lacecaps. This plant has a lacecap flower that tries to be more. Lanarth White is exceptionally beautiful with dark pink/blue tiny center flowers and larger pure white sterile flowers scattered amongst the center and rimming the outside edge. Tapered, darkest green leaves add to the contrasting colors of this plant. This hydrangea loves the shade and will earn your love and respect with its wonderful proven performance! Said to be a sport of "Thomas Hogg" and selected by M. Williams of Lanarth UK before 1949.
