This can grow as a red, burgundy or purple lacecap and is very pH sensitive. It is most popular as a red but has other colors so vibrant you won't be disappointed regardless of soil type. Like the other Teller hydrangeas, this plant blooms mid-season on strong sturdy stems and the large dark green leaves only add to its beauty. Bred in 1987 and introduced by the Federal Research Institute for Horticulture in Switzerland.
