A star from the Holstein region of northern Germany
The large sterile flowers of this remarkable plant can be 3 1/2" wide. The shapely rounded head is salmon/pink in neutral soil turning to a sky blue color in acid soils. The stately stems and strong growth mean you'll have a bouquet from mid-season till the first frost right in your own backyard. Bred by H. Schadendorff of Germany in 1928.
