Hydrangea Involuncrata Hortensis

Full blooming member of this fuzzy leaf family of hydrangea

Diving into the unusual history of this under recognized family of hydrangea has been fun!  I acquired this specimen from Dan Hinkley many years ago (2017?).  This vigorous cultivar is amazing and has bloomed reliably for us even as a young plant. We've only seen pink flowers in the nursery so far, but we are hoping for some blue colors once the pH is more acidic.
