Old-fashioned impossible to find plant
We have looked for this variety for years after seeing it grown in the wild on Cape Cod. Often confused with Annabelle, this plant grows a bit larger, has larger blooms and tends to bloom a bit earlier. The flowers start late May and continue till the first hard frost. Its parentage is unknown but has been around North America since the 1900s. Blooms begin green, turn white before aging lime green during the heat of the summer.
