We found this gem at Far Reaches Farm in Washington state and is said to be introduced by Crug Farms of Wales via Japan. It is native to the Ryukyu Islands. Pink clusters of all fertile flowers appear in late summer. The compact plant needs cool and moist areas with little direction sun.
