The petals become dotted with pink as they age. This vigorous, cold-resistant beauty has all the best qualities including luxuriant, glossy foliage that turns to autumn colors of red, orange and green setting off its flawless blooms. You'll find it easy to grow and more impressive each year. Cross between Mariesii grandiflora and Rosea. Bred in France by Emile Mouillere in 1909.
