Show-stopping color has made this hydrangea a favorite of florists and landscapers. This hydrangea blooms deep blue or vivid pink depending on the acidity of the soil. This shrub also resists scorching better than others in hot sun. This is a wonderfully dark green foliage that turn dark red to copper in the autumn. Bred by August Steiniger of Germany in 1950.
