Hydrangea Aspera Rocklin

For all you Aspera lovers out there, this is going to be your favorite. The slender leaf is just slightly rough (like fine sandpaper) with a dark green top and pale green underside. Rocklin is a fantastic foliage plant for contrasting color and texture. This plant grows more upright and has super sized pale pink to purple sterile flowers and fertile florets of vibrant purple. It blooms July through first frost, but keep out of the cold winds as it is as sensitive as the other Aspera family.
