QUERCIFOLIA
Commonly referred to as the Oakleaf hydrangea for its oak tree shaped leaves but hydrangea like qualities. This hydrangea is a larger growing hydrangea that does especially well in hot, humid areas. Blooms are conical and creamy white in color and this author believe most prolific in areas with drastic temperature changes. These hardy plants are native to the United States and have leaves that turn rusty red in the fall for a wonderful season finale.
