ARBORESCENS – The Arborescens family of hydrangeas is hardy to zone 4 and blooms on new wood. They can take full sun in all but the most southern gardens and can stand heat and humidity well. This family is native to the United States and bloom time is the longest of all the hydrangeas. Prune in the spring time to keep bloom size smaller.
