Hydrangea Macrophylla Seafoam

This hydrangea yearns to be a mophead with it's sterile florets all but covering the fertile flowers in the center. This ancient Japanese introduction has more oval shaped leaves, a little smaller than other macrophyllas from this region. The name implies Seafoam is only a star by the sea but give it enough room to shine and it will not disappoint you.
